Sail Through Wedding Planning

Sailcloth tents are one of the more traditional tent options and often remind me of a classic English country wedding. It is, simplistically, a type of pole tent which uses sailcloth material rather than vinyl. The translucent fabric means it has a beautiful glow and the soaring ceiling with the curved cloth makes it a stunning choice for a wedding.

The panoramic sides mean you can enjoy 360-degree views of the venue and we think this tent would look particularly stunning on The Oval at Glevering. Unlike other tents, you can choose to have the sides rolled up or the translucent walls can be rolled down to give you more shelter, whilst still allowing you to enjoy the view unhampered.

So how do you decorate these stunning tents? Simple décor is often the order of the day with these classic, New England style tents. They can be paired with long wooden tables, classic round tables or even square arrangements. With the beauty of the tent being the cloth some brides choose for minimal hanging decorations however you can embrace the poles by twisting round foliage or floral arrangements. Why not even bring the outside in and keep the grass flooring for a truly English garden party.

We can't wait to see one of these at Glevering as they truly are a classic, beautiful tent to host a unique, chic wedding.
